break in

i was getting food in the kitchen or something. the lights were off so i had the flashlight in my phone on. maddie was sleeping on the couch. as i was walking past the front door i peaked out the blinds for some reason. there was a young guy sitting in the grass right next to the sidewalk. he had shaggy blond hair, he was average-taller height, and he looked like he was my age or a little older. he turned his head when i looked through the blinds (acknowledging that he knew i was there) and then he shrugged like it was nothing and turned back around. he was just sitting there, it didn’t seem like an issue. so i started to walk upstairs. when i got to the top of the stairs he walked in the front door. i turned around and walked back down and started yelling “what are you doing in our house?!” and maddie stood up off the couch, she was scared but didn’t say anything. i walked to the kitchen, the lights were still off so it was kinda dark. i grabbed a knife. at this point the guys appearance changed. now he had black hair and there was a blond girl with him. they had me and maddie cornered in the kitchen. they weren’t trying to attack us or anything but it seemed like they were enjoying watching how we were acting. they were laughing and talking, i held my knife up every time the girl got close to me which made her laugh even more. eventually she got too close and i cut her throat. then i called 911 and the lady answered “911 we’re live with Fox News, what’s your emergency?” “someone broke into my house” then i gave her my address and said “there’s two guys here, there was a girl but she’s dead now” i live close to a police station so they got there quickly. (this part of the dream got really chaotic) i don’t know exactly what happened when the police got there, i don’t remember them being arrested. but i remember opening the door to an officer and asking her if they were gonna bring in a cleanup crew.
