Meeting the band Buck-Tick

Being a fan of J-rock and Visual Kei and living in New York is kind of lucky for me because it seems it’s a desirable location for bands in those genres. Unfortunately for me though, half of this dram was realistic so it kind of hurt honestly lol I was in a park in nyc (which doesn’t actually exist but it’s okay) just minding my own business when I notice a man who looks awfully similar to Yagami Toll, Buck-Tick’s drummer, sitting on a bench. He was kinda just vibing there and was so casual to the point that he didn’t even have his hair up in his signature style. Now keep in mind that if I actually saw them in a park irl I would BOOK IT SO FAST because I would just never be able to be in their presence, like what would I do????? Dream me is very bold lmfao So good ol Atsushi, the vocalist, walks by and impulsively I wave to him and give him a smile. The guy does THE EXACT SAME THING and when he’s gone I completely lose my shit. Points off on the realism scale because I know damn well he would never do that hahaha sobs It seems I caught them right as they were about to leave because I didn’t see the other members and my friend told me they all went back into the bus except Toll, who was still sitting down lmaooo old man The strange part about seeing Hisashi Imai, one of the guitarists, was he looked like he was ripped straight out of a photo shoot from the mid to late eighties maybe with moderately teased blonde hair and some pink eyeshadow. He was also visibly younger looking than the others. He happens to be my favorite of the band (if I had to choose) and I’m mildly obsessed with many of the looks he did when he was younger. I guess my brain programmed the dream so I could get to encounter younger Imai as supposed to older Imai, which is cool but any Imai is fine. Maybe except facial hair Imai. Technically I didn’t “meet them” but it was definitely something that would never happen irl due to my anxiety and personality, so I’ve gotta thank my brain for this one.
