Crushed on a grid

I'm in the dark, lying on the ground. Something heavy is pushing me against the ground. It's slowly tearing me apart, the ground is a hardened metal grid. I can feel my skull breaking in pieces but it doesn't hurt. It feels warm, like blood filling up my head like an hemorragy. I become aware it's a dream and I wonder if I'm having some sort of attack during my sleep, if this is how I die. Everything goes black, I'm at ease. I wake up in shock, unable to move or sleep during the rest of the night.
