Ultimate Battle Pacifist Style

We were trapped in a grandeur castle with high ceilings and fancy furniture with video game characters who were sucked into real life. The castle had been taken over by the bad guy and the grand ballroom was now a battle ground that was destroyed. A few rounds of battle were played video game style, changing characters and side kicks and weapons and then recharging between battles. At one point avatar the last airbender fought a giant death cube with a sword. The key was stabbing the cube's one weak point: an eye that was only revealed occasionally. The round I played, I fought a young boy that I thought I could easily beat playing as a strong fighter that was half bull, but he had a magical lion as a side kick. That round was called off. Then the main character was sick of it and froze everything with a magical gun that turned everything back into pixels and sent them back into the video game realm. He opened up a portal for them to return to the game through, but some didn't want to go back to the violent game.
