S*xual assault

I was at my neighbors annual Halloween party which is held in their driveway/into the house. Fire pit out side and everything, just to set the scene. My house faces it from right across the way. My friends and family were all there. Well I go to my house just to grab something, and there’s a random partygoer there. I ask who he is and he says oh, your dad asked me to grab __ and it sounded believable so I was just like ‘okay.’ We got to talking and laughing and he seemed nice, but I really wanted to get back to the party. But he kept getting closer to me. Then, randomly, he lifted up my skirt and dove his head down and started doing..ya know. I kept hitting his head and yelling at him to stop but he wouldn’t. After a moment or two of this, I break away and run outside. There are steps with railing on the outside door facing the party. I reach the steps and he grabs me, and is pulling me by my legs as I hold onto the railing. I scream for help, and for my mom who is at the fire pit. She and a few other adults come running and screaming for me, and the man let’s go and retreats into the house. My mom consoles me and calls for the police, and there is a standoff with him inside looking out the window at me. Then, I leave to find my friends and I tell them why happens. They know him, and I get so upset because they don’t seem to believe me. I tell them it’s true, and my mom and others saw the end of it and they keep saying ‘that doesn’t really sound like ___’ and ‘maybe you’re remembering it differently’. I’m totally shocked, and appalled by their reaction.
