Contacting other planets

I was, I think, in my own home but at the same time it felt like someone else's home. Julia cannon was in that home waiting for me to give her feedback. Shad had gave me this device that help me contact other stars. I'm not sure how I used it but I just remember it being this circle device that help me navigate the star system and told me which ones were easier to contact. While I was concentrating the device flew up to the sky and back down to my hands and it kind of handcuffed my hand but with only four whit balls that were attached to the device. I start thinking what the heck. Why would they want to do that to my hands. I didnt get scared I was just shocked. I have such good intentions, so why would the unable my hands from movement? I'm not sure if the device came off but I remember thinking to myself, I need to tell julia she will think this is interesting. And then the dream jumped to a different one.
