The Thief

A dark and silent night it is, and my parents are nowhere to be found. It's just me and my sibling Justine inside our house, in the living room. It's like we were waiting for our parents to enter the house, I think my mom was doing the laundry while my dad is drinking alcohol with his friends on a farther part of our property. All of a sudden, me and my sister heard a movement at the knob of our front door, so I came near it and looked through the window if that was my dad or mom, but to my surprise it was not. It was a man of unknown face and figure, it was dark and I can't see his face. He was forcing to enter our house, he was using a tool to unlock our door. I kept pushing the door and locking it again so he would repeat the process and not open the door. I kept calling to my mom and dad but they couldn't hear me since they were far. I looked through the window and saw a gray figure walking towards the left, I thought it was my grandfather or father that would stop or seize the thief but it turns out it was doing nothing, and it wasn't my grandfather or father but someone or something else. Moments later, it stopped and the thief went away. So, I went to the kitchen to finish doing chores or find food. And then as I was about to go back to the living room, I heard the same noise forcing through the lock of our door, so I looked through the window, it was the thief again. this time I tried again closing our door and locking it again. But it didn't worked already and he managed to open the door. I saw his face and figure. He was wearing a black hoodie, his body and face were thin and his smile sent chills to my spine. I shouted "Ma!" and then I woke up with those words coming out of my mouth. I slept and there was another dream, I was with my mom, I was turning on the lights of the room I was renting but it was so dim like all the lights were broken or the energy current was very low. I kept turning it on and off if it was going to normalize but it didn't. And then I woke up.
