first i was back at my middle school except it looked different, like the main entrance was very big and bright and white, almost like the entrance to a museum. the bell had rang and i was leaving to go home while all these other kids were walking around and suddenly i felt very faint and weak, like i couldn’t hold myself up. i crumpled to the floor and laid there for a few seconds before trying to get myself up. kids were staring at me and laughing and some were filming me. a woman who i presumed worked there came over and helped me up, telling me the kids were putting me on the school’s Snapchat story. i yelled at them and called them “fucking weird” or something like that and then went to go find my bus. all the buses were lined up by the curb in the front of the school, and my bus was the very last one. the person driving it was a college boy who didn’t know where we all lived so we would have to tell him. i realized the reason i fainted was probably because i was so dehydrated so i drank a lot of water on the bus ride home. then i was going to Vietnam on a trip with the same group i went on spring break with (yikes). they had already been there for a few days, but for whatever reason i flew by myself later and met them there at the airbnb they had booked. it was small and no bedrooms, just one big cluttered room with 4 beds and then a kitchen. there were 2 bathrooms for us to share, except they weren’t really rooms. they were like tiny pods that you had to open a tiny door to and crouch to get in. it looked like a very miniature airplane bathroom. the sink was touching the toilet because it was so cramped, and music played while you used the bathroom. i didn’t wanna complain too much because apparently this was normal in Asian culture and i didn’t wanna get cancelled by my friends. shortly after i got there, i realized i somehow forgot to pack all my toiletries and birth control and had only thrown some random clothes in my suitcase so i started panicking and telling my friends we needed to go to the store ASAP. they didn’t seem too worried because they all had brought plenty of stuff, including a fan and humidifier?? anyway, our airbnb was on a bluff with an amazing few of the ocean and cliffs and one of the first things i did was take pictures for my instagram story. and at some point, i was there with my mom and sisters who i guess came to visit me. we went to a public beach together where we got these fun ice cream treats and later my mom took us out to dinner. then i was at a public pool for some reason and i was staring at this girl in the lifeguard shed who i was trying to figure out if she was C’s ex. i realized she wasn’t tho and that i was just a creep. then all these kids started piling in, mostly my age but some younger and some a bit older. i realized they were part of some summer camp thing, but they were disrupting my peace so i got up and left. some guy waved to me like he knew me and i waved back, confused because i don’t think it had ever seen him in my life. a girl came up to me who i DID recognize but im not sure who she actually was now. she asked me if i was “going out with them later tonight.” i wasn’t sure who “them” was, but i said yes. she was from Venezuela, so i got the vibe that now i was in Venezuela and not Vietnam.
