Forest Elk with Baby

A while ago i dreamt that i was an elk. But i was also Finn from adventure time. Jake was with me and i had a tiny hedgehog friend as well. I think that hedgehog was Amethyst...from Steven Universe...🙄 i couldn't understand why i was an elk. Jake said something insightful about it being what the "Dream Lords" thought was appropriate or important. I could t understand. I kept questioning and saying "but why an elk?" All the while kind of zoning out at the complete tranquility of the forest i lived in. Birds chirped and you could practically feel the sunlight as it came through the trees lighting up the patch of dewy deep green most we wear standing in. I became aware of the baby elk i had tagging along behind me eating moss and lazing in the sunlight. The dream was over all pleasant and warm but there was an overarching sense of wonder that sort of broke the tranquility, i was dragged away from the dream just as i had heard the screams of a nearby village on fire. But i knew i had to leave because that was t what was important about the dream. I had to make peace with the things i couldn't change.
