October $1 bill and hurricane

I was living in a town. It was almost September. There was talk of a hurricane coming in early October. For some reason people kept telling me I needed to get a $1 bill with September on it and a $1 bill with October on it, and a lighter, because we were going to lose power. I went to a store and got a lighter before the hurricane happened but didn't understand why I needed a $1 bill with months on it. Later as the power went out I understood why. On the calendar on my phone, I couldn't see the dates for Sept and Oct. it was as if those days weren't going to exist when the hurricane came. I went to a store and found two dollar bills taped to the wall - both Sept. there was a sign that said to take one if you need one so I took one. In my phone the sept dates started to show up. I went to another store that was kind of like a museum with food organized by geographic area in the U.S. I looked around the "south" region wall at the junk food. There were prices and stuff to buy but it almost seemed like more of a museum. I went to the cash register to ask about an Oct $1 bill. A different person that worked there could tell what I needed and he came up to me to ask if I needed the $1 bill. He looked like he was going to help me.
