Robot Alien Gnomes

I don't remember exactly when this dream was, but I was still small, like 10 or 11 years old. I was in my room upstairs, asleep. When the dream started, I woke up and it looked like the mini hallway space in my room had its light on, and I heard what sounded like a toy car's wheels with friction moving into the room and then to the foot of my bed. Then, I heard a deep and very loud robot voice say something that I can't remember. I then said, with some difficulty, "go away". The deep robot voice then said something, perhaps menacingly, but more than likely neutral and in a foreign voice. They didn't move, and I remember seeing shadows of gnomes and out of the corner of the foot of my bed was what looked like a metal gnome peeking out. I was really scared and I didn't know what to do, so I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. I woke up the next morning, the room exactly like it had been in the dream with the light off and daylight. I asked my mom if she had been in my room that night and she said no, and I told her about the dream.
