New House

My dad bought us a new house on the corner of North Avenue and some other street in Cranford. It was a big house, but only one floor. There was a huge ditch by the side of the house, as the house was still being built, and I had to form a pathway for the main hallways. So I used the soil and a shovel to spread out a path for the hallways. When I entered the house, the living room was the first thing we saw. There were light olive green sofas and the walls were also painted light olive green. The next room was the kitchen to the left. There was off white furniture and bluish gray marble for the countertops. The kitchen looked very modern. There were mini steps that led to the bedrooms. The right bedroom had all hot pink walls and cameo paintings. A walk-in closet was to the left and there was already a bed post and furniture set. I automatically fell in love with the room and wanted this my room. The room to the left was also hot pink, and it had cartoons hung up on the walls. It also had a conjoining bathroom, which the bedroom next to it didn’t have. It was also bigger too. I knew that my sister would claim this room and it probably wouldn’t have been mine.
