I had a dream I was back in California. Not sure what the occasion was, but I used to live there as a child in real life, so in my dream, I was back in California. I was in Valencia, which is right outside Los Angeles, visiting from Phoenix, where I live now in real life, and where I've lived for most of my life. So, as I said, I was back in California, and I was visiting my old elementary school. I saw Mrs. Shepherd and Mrs. Rollins, my 2nd and 3rd grade teachers, and they were thrilled to see me. We got all caught up, and they gave me some memorabilia from when I was in their classes. I read braille in real life, because I'm blind, although, I don't read it as often as I used to back then, but I can still read it. My teachers in the dream gave me these braille story books I created with tactile illistrations. I remember I had so much fun reading those. In addition to the braille books, they gave me some cassette tapes. I loved to record back then in real life, and I still love to record now. That hobby has never faded away. A lot of sighted people enjoy photography, well, this was my version of keeping memories, and describing the world. I'd hit record, and record pretty much anything random, and I could always go back and listen to it, and reminisce and remember those times. Well, back then, in the 90's, there were no iPhones and google pixels, like there is now, so I would always record everything on cassette tape. Sadly, in real life, I lost those cassette tapes, but it would have been nice to listen and look back for sure. It was cool looking back in my dream. I remember being disappointed that I didn't have as many recordings in California, but I remember reasoning that I only spent 3 years of my life in California. Most of my life, I've been in Phoenix, and I have my own place in north Phoenix now. I've lived here almost 3 years in this place. So it's obvious I'd have more recordings in Arizona, but it is a pity I don't have any tapes anymore. But in my google drive, with smart phones now more popular, I've got recordings as far back as January 2017. That's when I got my first ever smart phone, so since then, I've been saving recordings, and collecting them. But yeah, that was my dream.
