Return to the Dream World of Ghost Future

Took a nap and dreamt I was in a light futuristic world that didn't look too far off from the present. I'm in downtown Detroit and I can see a large mural ad plastered on the side of a building of the live action Ghost in the Shell movie. The Major's (main character from the movie/anime) eyes are obscured by deliberate artistic pixelation which I thought was pretty cool. That's when it hit me that I've been in this dream world before perhaps maybe months ago. Last time I was here I was being chased and attacked by some mysterious pursuers. Right when I think about this I feel something long, sharp and needle-like whizz past my face having just missed me by an inch. I look behind me to find two individuals dressed in white with dark shades on. They were the kind you'd see in a futuristic movie like Ghost in the Shell or Back to the Future 2 with what Doc Brown has on in the end of the 1st and beginning of the 2nd movie. These guys (and I think one was female but couldn't tell) had weapons drawn that looked like guns. I didn't know who they were but I knew they were the same guys from last time. Naturally I don't stick around and start running. They seem to have different guns because I recall one of them having a really powerful one that would do serious damage to me wherever I got hit by it. Somehow now I'm stronger and these don't hurt me like they used to. I can take alot more hits before I feel fatigued thankfully. I see a busy street and decide to make a dash across, avoiding the sleek futuristic cars as I weave in front of and behind these fast moving vehicles. Managed to make it across without getting hit. I hear my name being called and see a girl on a nearby balcony shouting to me. She's from the last dream too and even though I don't know her irl, we're friends in this place. She always helps me out. I attempt to make it to her while my pursuers are temporarily stalled by the traffic. We can beat them if the both of us work together. We always manage somehow. My alarm wakes me up at this point.
