This dream was kind of (really) strange, but it WAS lucid. Also, I had another dream before the lucid one, but it was long and complicated and the only part I can be bothered to tell is that I got my very own kitten (sad that can’t happen in real life...) So anyways, the lucid dream! I think there was one scene, it’s very fuzzy, but I remember some kind of instructor TELLING us we were lucid and to spin to maintain it. Just as last time, there was the incredibly strange feeling of moving limbs you know aren’t real. At the beginning, we were in a strange meadow between a river and a forest, and I was there with some other people I don’t know in real life. I forget what we were, but I do know we weren’t human. I asked one of the other girls, “Uh... how do you change back to human form?” And she opened up some kind of menu and tapped a big button that said ‘TRIAL’. We followed her actions and it worked. At this point I lost some lucidity and apparently went... whale riding..? In the river. Okay, I know. Sounds really strange. And it was! I rode what looked like a pilot whale through a river! And to be honest, it was pretty darn cool. Don’t recommend in real life, but dream whale riding was fun. Oh, and then someone tried to tell me that blue whales weigh 200 lbs. Google says they weigh 110,000-330,000 lbs. So. Not too far off, right?! When we got back to the meadow, there was a brief moment where I opened my eyes in real life. I was awake, definitely, and then I let myself fall back asleep almost instantly into the dream again. Pretty weird, actually, considering there was a moment where I was in that valley and could hear someone’s footsteps from upstairs in my actual house. Then somebody said something (don’t remember exactly what) and I responded, “Oh, actually I’m awake.” Still thought I was. “Really? How are you moving and talking?” She asked. I moved my hands and realized that no, I wasn’t making up a situation in my head. “Oh! You’re right! I’m asleep again.” After that we waltzed over to the forest and had some fun trying to ride wolves. I’m rather disappointed my dreamself didn’t try to fly or SOMETHING COOL you can do while lucid. But, if I got two lucid dreams, then maybe I can hope for more. There’s always another night... and hopefully then I’ll try flying.
