Monsters

I was in a huge old mansion hotel type thing. The people there were training us to be monsters? We look like our usual selves but they were training us all the same. I remember one day my friends and I were on the 3rd floor which was the one we lived on and the door to our room was gone. There was a few lines that other “monsters” were waiting in so I decided to join the one on the far left which was actually kind of short compared to the others. Apparently this was our first task to weed out all the bad “monsters”, it was kind of like an interview but we started with a howl type thing but we supposed to talk at the same time, like a weird type of “monster” introduction. At this point I was next up in line Max D is in front of me and he points up front, all the rejects are sitting down on white pillows, most of them look like really scrawny little nerdy type kids that I’ve never scene before. He said that’s where you’re gonna end up. Then he walked forward was his interview, he of course passed and I walked up. I had my introduction planned, I was gonna say “Let’s go Dogs!” In a growl (I think the dogs were the “monsters” mascot or something?). But he never asked for my introduction. So I didn’t say it. He wrote something down and I could tell it wasn’t looking good. I continued and it was still really awkward. But I wanted to show Max up, so when he asked if I had a job I said I worked at Regal movies, I said it was great because I snuck people in all the time. Then I started going off on my annoying coworker, Peter and how much I hated him. To top it off I started swearing a ton and he loved it. He wrote his signature down which indicated that I passed, I walked by the rejects sitting down and entered the other room of the people that advanced. Later the rejects joined us and I met up with all my friends, Keagan and Sam passed and Alex and Brie failed. Alex said in a way it was kind of a relief and he could stop acting like a “monster”, he also said he purposely failed. I said “smart”. Keagan and Sam flipped the pages in their packet and showed me this chart on what they were rated on out of 5. I’ve never scene that page before so I flipped to the back and found it. I said aloud “What? I got a 1 for introduction but he only asked how I was doing, I even asked if I’m supposed to growl and he ignored me”. Sam only shrugged and said “I don’t know man”. I didn’t get very good scores but I did get to 4s so I’m thinking I barely passed. The next challenge Keagan and Sam lined up first. They talked to 2 separate people. Afterwards I stepped out of line and asked what they had to do. They both responded by saying they had to sing? And I’m like “why?” They they don’t know. They also had to wait to get their scores later. But Sam’s a singer so he probably aced it, not so sure about Keagan though. Then I woke up
