Misdiagnosed with schizophrenia (nightmare)

3rd person dream in which I’m matching a young version of myself playing with my cat in my yard when a man comes to watch. He takes the cat and injured him and I’m so upset I run inside to my mom to tell her and the man is gone. At first she believed me but then a few more instances of the same man coming around and causing havoc happened and she started to believe it really was me. They took me to the doctor and the doctor said I must be seeing and believing in this man but there’s no way he’s real so I must have schizophrenia. They put me on a bunch of meds and basically sedate me and then the man cane back and said he was going to kill my dad. I keep telling my dad but he won’t listen to me and eventually the man did. Everyone saw it so they finally believed me
