The Shark and the Mermaid

I'm standing in a square pool... dark tile clear water. There are two or three other people with me but I don't see them clearly. When I look down I'm in the water, waist deep standing. When I look up the pool is reflected on the wall. There is a large shark (whale size) circling the 'outside' of the pool in a anti clockwise direction. Warnings are being shouted to get out before it makes its way back into the pool. I'm trying to get out but can't. The pool turns into a beautiful clear ocean. A mermaid appears smiles at me and asks me to hold on to her tail and she will get me out. I hold on clumsily. She starts to swim through the clear water. I can see a big wave approaching, I feel safe and close my eyes as we go under. when I open them I am awake. If anyone can interpret this dream, I would appreciate it
