Lost phone at a wealthy wedding

I drove to some kind of event space in North Carolina and checked into a dormitory style room that was clearly occupied by someone else. A couple of guys entered, welcomed me, and smoked their weed with me. I contributed some of my own weed, out of a yellow bowl. Aside from this, I had only my phone and it's charger. I left the room and walked around this huge convention building, which had plenty of lived in space along with event space. I learned I was at the wedding of a very wealthy family. I could not identify the bride or groom, but was very welcome by all the drunken dudes that could. A doughy, kind eyed guy named Rob invited me to play some game around a table with the family. I sat down with them, next to a snarky middle aged woman, against shelves piled with junk. Rob asked that I give him my phone so he could put it away during play. I complied. I eventually left the game (possibly without playing) to go back to my dorm to smoke more pot, but my yellow bowl was missing. I went back to the reception area and found it underfoot of one of the dudes who was sitting on a couch. The bowl had been crushed a bit and the weed dumped out into the carpet. I tried to reform the bowl but figured the weed was lost. At that point, the event started winding down, night had fallen, and people were slowly leaving. I decided I was going to drive home that night rather than staying. But I had forgotten that Rob took my phone. When I went back to the game table, everyone was gone. I sought out Rob to get my phone back but no one knew where he was. Another guy said Rob had left but gave me Rob's phone number and let me use his phone to send him a text. He told me my phone was probably on the shelves next to the game table. So I went back and looked more carefully. On the shelves were many different cell phones but none of them were mine. I soon realized that I was in a dream but could not leave the current setting or wake up until the phone was found. I spent what felt like a long time going from dorm to shelves to reception area and back again, looking. Eventually the guy who let me text Rob from his phone said he had replied. That guy had already found my phone and handed it to me (with the charger). I then woke up.
