couldn’t speak

just remembering this now but in the dream i was trying to talk at some point but every time i tried to make a sound my throat would just close up and nothing would come out. like my throat was literally being squeezed shut by an outside force. i wasn’t choking or anything but it was super weird and freaked me out a little because i tried like ten times to say one phrase and my brain just didn’t let me for some reason. i tried rephrasing, going one word at a time, etc. but nothing worked and words just didn’t come out. pretty freaky
