I was a Ghost?

Okay, so in my dream, I was in the 1800 or something and I was stealing a painting but I was caught. I was then put in a room, we're I was tortured and then later died. (Still in my dream) I woke up and later found out I was dead. It was kinda heartbreaking. With some work, I found I could talk to living people if I tried hard enough. Suddenly, A guy I have feelings for was there. Finding out that he was going to get murdered by his crazy girlfriend, I tried to warn him. He seemed to get the message with some help of living people and broke up with her. The girl couldn't care less and then murdered some boy. It was weird and I thought I could live happily watching over him but soon his ex-girlfriend was a Ghost too, and she then tried to get revenge on me. That's where I woke up.
