Jumping into lake

I was at a field with brannagh and there was a cliff with the lake at the bottom. The water looked pretty good. The cliff had a little ledge on the other side that you could sit or stand on. I climbed over and sat on the ledge. Brannagh did the same. All of a sudden Gage runs by and jumps off the tall cliff into the water. He surprisingly didn't die and he was like cmon everybody jump in! To my surprise, brannagh willingly jumped in almost automatically. I was like hell no im not doing that. I'm deathly afraid of heights. Then out of no where, a group of kids our age starting jumping in and I was like wtfff there's a bunch of rocks down there too, they all could've died.
