A sword in a gunfight

My social circle gathered together for a celebration. We were preparing to share a drink. When it was time for me to toast, I passed the horn, stating I won't share with a niđing (a nordic insult refering to one without honor). One of the guys in the group asked who in our group who among the group I looked him in the face and said you. He took up his sword, and said it was time to defend my statement. I waited until he started coming at me, drew a .45 caliber 1911 pistol, and shot him twice in the right side of the chest. The ambulance came and took him away. The sword was given to another of our circle, and I woke up.
