I destroy at a sport that I made up

Me and my roommates still lived together, but we also lived with another girl (doesn’t exist irl) who was mysterious and didn’t seem to like us much. Our downstairs area was the living room from my childhood home. There was a popular game that was like soccer and wrestling combined (nothing like football) and people would watch the video game version of it like Sunday night football because some people were super good at it, and a lot of them chose to remain anonymous. I was secretly one of those people. Devlin found out and I took her upstairs to my room and showed her. My room was huge and had its own living room outside the bedroom. It was white and stucco, it had a big circular fire place in the middle of the room. I was talking to devlin about how excited I was to decorate it, because it was still empty and hadn’t been decorated. Our roommate was up a ladder through a hole in the ceiling, her room was up there. To play the game you go into a sort of VR, but to have more space to run and play the game you can be shrunken down to like two inches tall. Also, the game is one on one, not played with teams. I shrank down and devlin watched. I proceeded to play a crazy game that I ended up winning. After, my upstairs mysterious roommate overheard me and devlin celebrating and heard her telling me how amazing I was. She came downstairs super angry and revealed that she was who I was playing against, and she’d been one of the first anonymous famous game players. Eventually, she chilled out and we talked more and became friends.
