In my waking life, I’ve been caring for an elderly aunt who has Alzheimer’s and we recently had to put her in a home. She is not a rich woman, so she will be on Medicaid at some point. In order to apply for Medicaid, you cannot have any real assets and you cannot have more than $2000 in liquid assets. You have to sell off any real property and use any cash first before you can apply for Medicaid. This means that I had to sell her house upfront and cash out her 401(k). This money is being used to pay rent at a home plus facility, 8000 per month. Once she burns through all of her cash, then we can apply for Medicaid. In my dream, I was at aunt Blondie‘s house. We were getting it cleaned out to be sold. My husband was not wanting to do the work. He just wanted to walk away and sell it as is. I was irritated with him. For some reason, I crawled in the middle of the bed and peed all over it. Scene change I am at a movie theater. I am sitting in the middle of a row, and people boxed me in on both ends of the aisle. I hate being boxed in and immediately got up and went to the lobby and waited there for the movie to be over and for the rest of my family to come out of the theater.
