Back to School

I woke up late. I missed the bus. It was 7:50am instead of 6:50am, my clock had fooled me somehow. I couldn't find pants that fit, or a shirt that would button shut. I hadn't done my makeup and didn't have the time. I was very insecure and could feel the disappointment. I had missed so much school already, I didn't know how to finish my assignments or homework. I knew I was failing. Knowing I was late and after I took all day to get ready, I even packed a bowl and made time to smoke before I left. Knowing that I would be arriving to school around the same time they let everyone out and school day being over. I didn't know how I was going to get there. I felt like I was waiting on a ride that wasn't going to show up.
