Strictly Come Dancing: Richard Coles And Stephen Mulhern Kick Off Behind The Scenes

I was in the studio audience for Strictly Come Dancing, in the year the Reverend Richard Coles was one of the celebrities. Reverend Richard Coles came on, and at first everything seemed normal, despite his dancing partner not being with him. He did a dance to Beat Again by JLS. However, he suddenly stopped dancing and proceeded into a stand-up routine. Initially, the audience were laughing along with him, but when he kept it up and didn't return to dancing, they got impatient and started to boo. I tweeted that he must have thought he was on Britain's Got Talent, then looked up on my phone and was stunned when I saw him storm off stage. The crowd went silent as we could all hear him ranting at somebody out of sight. Then Stephen Mulhern, who was in the audience, got up from his seat and took to the microphone on the stage, calling him selfish and accusing him of various other things. This young girl who seemed to be his assistant persuaded him to come down from the stage, but then he started being horrible towards her. I got up from my seat and told Stephen Mulhern to leave her alone. He blamed her for his behaviour and said it was because she was only 14, and told her to explain the full story. Instead, she started crying, and Stephen Mulhern rudely accused me of trespassing.
