I came at the ball, to the Prince's demand. It was only just the practice, but nervosity was heavy in my stomach. But the evening was amazing and so were his friends, thought I didn't talk to them much. Tomorrow, it would be the real ball, the real thing. But for now, the evening was over and all was good. Somehow, talking and walking through the castle, we ended up making out. Like, EPIC. he was undoing my dress in my back when he mentioned feathers. That's when it all came back at me: I couldn't be here. I didn't belong here at all. Sun was rising as fast as my feathers were growing back. I ran away and before he knew, I had flown away and he had no idea what has just happened. The second day, I so dearly wanted to come, but there was some spell keeping me away from the castle. I could only look through the windows from afar as my prince danced with another, not knowing she wasn't me.
