The Incredibles!

We were the Incredibles! A family of Supers, living in Metropolis. We had just moved cities, and were currently shooting across a large lake in the center of the city, standing on a a roaring speedboat. As we continued across the large lake, a eteor strck the water right next to us. We looked up, and saw hundreds of meteors shooting across the city. Of course, the first course of action was to take a selfie together with the fireballs behind us. After we got the picture, we had to jump off the boat right before a meteor exploded directly on it. We decided to investigate, and got out of the lake, before cautiously walking into a side alley. We turned a corner, and saw 2 mermaids on land, holding hands with their eyes closed, mumbling incantations. We jumped them, and though one got away, we got the other. She told us that the mermaids were trying to protect their home city from us, the "invaders." I told her not to worry, and stepped up so I stood directly in front of her. I looked her in her wild, scared eyes, and wiped her memory. Then, I decided to alter her appearance, which I did quickly. "You shall be named Clarissa," I then said. She has been a loyal companion ever since.
