Serial killer on the loose

I can't fully remember my dream, but a serial killer was on the loose. I remember being places in town but idk why. Everyone in the town was terrified. I went out at night like a dumb ass? All for a bottle of nail polish that people leave at the gas station up the road for you to use because 3 of my fingers didn't have it?? I had painted them blue but ran out. I grabbed the nail polish looked back across the street and saw a random kid standing alone. I went over to him and a kitten ran after me too, and I took them with me. We started walking back to my house and I heard dogs barking loudly. I was like shit if he's here he's coming this way. I peeked by head by the dentists office and I saw a dark hooded figure with a weapon coming my way. I was like fuck and I drug the kid behind it but I was like.. what if he comes that way? So I waited. And he did so I went around the building. But I knew he was standing behind it waiting for me so I picked up the kitten and told the kid we had to run as fast was we could and as soon as we booked it the killer started chasing us. I got home and o told everyone who was there that I fucked up. The killer got in but I soon realized he was supernatural. I stabbed a sword into his heart but it didn't kill him. I then stabbed it through his head but all he did was laugh. Apparently he was a dragon in human form? Idk we talked and he decided he'd just leave?
