From Mountain Hiking to Mexico?!

Went mountain hiking with a small group (5 people or less and one guy was on a horse) but me and the horse guy took a different route because he thought they both led down to the same base. The one me and him go on is scary because it goes very steep, but he's confidant it will be okay. "We can always go backwards" he said. Anyways, we end up very split from the rest of the group. We see our friends' rating of how they are doing on their phones go down and down, but in the dream calling and texting wasn't an option. So me and my partner get down the mountain eventually, but we don't end up at our base camp; we end up near a crowded convince store (right now) in Mexico! The horse is gone now, my dream just didn't need it anymore I guess. We get some free water and use their restroom. However, when we check on our friends, it's all one star reviews, and only our best friend's account is active (we somehow know that means everyone but her died). To try and save ourselves and our friend, we decide to get to the US/Mexico border, and tell an English speaking officer what had happened to get help in the US. Then I woke up!
