It almost seems to start out like I'm watching a TV show. It's an interview of some people and why they took in a kitten and why a guy owns it. Apparently they found a lynx-like kitten while walking with their baby daughter and the kitten took a liking to her IMMEDIATELY. They figured their daughter could use a friend so they took the kitten home. It time skips and the guy who owns the cat comes over during severe raining. This takes place in Colorado where it cuts to a Colorado news anchor saying there's flood warnings in the area. The daughter got tired of being inside especially since the family decided to make the kitten an outside cat and had left it outside and their daughter wanted to spend time with the cat and just play outside. She's playing with her parents watching when their friend visits (the guy who NOW owns the cat). He stands in a puddle of water that comes up to his knees as he watches this little girl splash around in smaller puddles. He brought flowers and they're getting soaked by now but the "camera" pans down to show the kitten sitting on a little ledge on a rock as the water is coming down in a small stream. The father pulls his friend to the side to explain the vet didn't want to care for the cat because they're choosing to leave it outside in the rain. The vet said that it's irresponsible and like choosing disease so he won't treat a "water-logged cat." The friend is kind enough to offer to keep the cat for a bit until the rain slows down, so he picks up the kitten and they all go inside, kitten included. Cut to maybe a day or two later. The stream has nearly turned into a river but still small. The little girl is playing in it, diving under the water (gross...). She comes up giggling but then... she disappears. She falls over a ledge and turns out it was a VERY large cliff. Unfortunately, my dream gives gruesome details as she sails over the edge and hits rocks and breaks her bones on the way down. The last image I see are her twisted legs twitching after she landed on the ground.
