Alien bats can recharge the sun

I had to travel to space with a couple of other people, because earth was failing. But we found aliens and brought them into our pretty fancy ship, but it wasn't a big ship. We put them in secure rooms, they were weird looking. One looked like a goat and a elephant. They studied them, figured out their age and put them through tests to find out what they could do. Some woman asked me how they are able to figure out their age and I said probably by their horns and other ways. She said that isn't possible... I looked at her, annoyed and I said:' Of course it is" They found out that the alien bat, that looked like a deformed human with human skin wings could recharge the sun if the sun also decided to fail on us. I don't know how, it was just a thing in my dream that it could do and it wasn't questioned. But I guess I didn't have time to question it, because right after they forced the alien to send out some hot beam stuff as a test, which you know... Isn't that smart if it can recharge the fucking sun. The ship is now wrecked and I could feel it get warmer, I start to panic and I cling on to life. I tried to accept death and calm down since I had no choice anyway, but I couldn't do it and woke up.
