Lots going on in this dream. I was in a giant clothing store thay doubled as costume storage for some theatre company. It was tech and everyone needed extra help so I volunteered to help pull the remaining missing costume pieces. My friend Alegra was playing some version of Little Red Riding Hood and needed a specific kind of shawl, bur the ensemble was all supposed to be from the 1880s, and they needed accessories. Across the street was some kind of theme park (maybe Dianeyland?) and my dad was visible just sitting in a pool area in the water. I kept thinking "I should go over there super quick and make sure he's wearing sunscreen," but I never had time. Then, suddenly my job changed, although it seemed to be the same reality. Now I was the assistant teacher for a "classroom" (in a lunchroom) of about 300 elementary school kids. The teacher needed me to keep them busy for 30 minutes, so I set up an area where they could get a cup of several juices and milks, and some little snacks. First I gave them a seated quiz from their tables -- it was a "show me with your hands" quiz. Very few of them paid enough attention to respond, but those who did got to go get juice first. I sent kids 5 at a time to line up and get juice, and the others were given instructions to draw and talk to their peers about what they did over Thanksgiving break. While this happened, the main teacher told me to follow a runner who had fleed out heavy door into the courtyard -- I was not allowed to touch him but I could bribe him with the promise of cookies, and I eventually got.him back inside and figured out how to lock the outside doors.
