Friends or?

So, recently I have been having dreams about a friend of mine who I have known for a really long time, to whom I've always been close. For context, he has a daughter who is my godchild, and I've always seen him as a part of my "family" but as a close friend, not a sibling or anything like that. I am happily engaged so this dream has me a bit confused. In the dream, the friend and I are romantically and sexually involved, repeatedly and other people from our day to day make appearances. His daughter does as well, and two other children I don't recognize but somehow claim as my own (in the dream). I'm not sure what this means and I've tried looking into it, but I'm curious about anyone's input.
