Giant pet bugs

I have two giant pet bugs. One is a scorpion cockroach the size of a football. The other is a spider with long thick legs. I use a stick to sword fight the spiders legs playfully. Their tanks are stacked and as I play with one the other escapes. It's the roachy one and the thought of it attacking me in the house is terrifying. I spend hours afraid to start searching. My dad walks in holding it. He tells me he just killed a weird bug.
