Moving to Cape Breton?

In this dream it was a sunny, summer day in Halifax and I was walking around the Commons. I noticed a moving van and other than the guy driving it there were two guys on the outside of it like a garbage truck. I decided that if I were to hop on to this moving truck that I could help them unload whatever was in it when it got to its destination and then they would hire me. Well I hooked something to the back and it didn't do anything so I hopped on. I was on the back with the other guy and the second guy got into the cabin. As we're driving, we're suddenly going faster and faster and I'm holding on for dear life. We're on the highway now and I manage to get into the actual bed of the van...the skies are turning cloudy now. Inside the van it's pitch black and I'm laying over top of a box trying to find a signal to call someone. We're headed to Cape Breton! When we get to the island we're in the highlands, or somewhere rural anyways, on top of a high mountain/cliff. Someone opens the door and I get out and it's bright. An older, quirky woman drives by in a car and I recognize that she's helped me before and she tells me that she can drive me back to Halifax tomorrow but I'll have to stay the night with someone else and gestures to a young couple walking down the way. The young couple take me into their lovely, medium small maritime home. It's really lovely and clean but there are blankets on all the windows making it really dark inside. The girl's teenage younger brother lives with them too and we're all hanging out in the living room. I go down to the kitchen and holler upstairs that I'm going to go outside for a cigarette. They yell down to me "NO!!" and they say it will be too scary out there and they seem adamant. I had already opened the door and recoiled to come back in, but I had done something...in comes the landlord and his young son. They come into the house and start over analysing everything menacingly. He has a very evil energy and seems to be satiated by the young woman's energy and is watching her a lot. She feels sorry for him but he is a predator. The end.
