Lava and Diet Coke

My family and I ,which included my parents, grandparents,and some of my aunts uncles and cousins, went to stay in a beach house for a vacation. We were all hanging out in the living room type thing. We looked out the window and we saw the volcano slowly start to leak out of it. We all stayed calm and made sure everyone was on a couch and not on the floor. Soon after that the lava reached our beach house. If went in thin trails around the floor. We all for situated and took turns taking a shower while everyone waited on the couch. We casually walked over the trails and made sure not to touch it. After a bit, the lave turned into glass swirlies. We then went on our day normally. I went to the dollar store and tried to open the door, but it was locked. I decided to wait and plugged my phone into a plug on the door. Soon after that, a worker started coming towards the door and said it was open. So I pushed and the door opened and there were other people there. I started looking for a cold Diet Coke and called me mom to see if she needed anything. And that's where it ended.
