Wild city

In a corner of an old city I find a set of abandoned rooms. A photographer is trying to take pictures, but is struggling with his camera. I ask if he has somewhere I can see his photos, but he tells me to search for Pinterest on Instagram. Later, I am living in the abandoned rooms. I’ve made them quite cozy. There is no bathroom, but I can use one nearby. I am going to do so when a group of travellers passes through. They’re friendly. A pink and orange scorpion like monster comes through the door. A visitor with a dog says the scorpion monster is probably friendly, but it turns her dog to stone with a look. We all glee, and I jump out a window. I keep running down slanted roofs and jumping down to the next level. It’s as if the city is one giant hill of buildings. I go right and down, and pass a large stream of refugees in turbans going the other way. I think I’ve escaped the monster. I see other members of the original group still running down the hill. The hill has grass on it now. I eventually reach a street level. I go down the street and pass a building of white marble labeled “Youth Olympics” in gold, with children in togas at the entrance. I go inside and climb stairs. I keep climbing till I reach the very top, which is open to a sea. A round platform detached and dips into the water, becoming an automated paddle. The building saiid away with no sign of land. Later, I’m on a street again. There are three centaurs, the size of infants on the sidewalk. The third has a sign “Centaurs for hire”. I wake up. There are other fragments I remember. I was drawing lines between city regions. The bathroom had a bathtub but no toilet or shower, and the bathtub was bottomless. Dust in my hair. Other sights on the street.
