morbid movie

It was like a movie I was watching, but it seemed like it was based on reality. On a farm out in the middle of no where, somewhere in the south, there was this guy who took people, tied them up, and simulated dangerous scenarios for them. This particular time it was a hostage situation. The man in charge would take maggots that he found and make "ghost bombs" out of them. He said it's not a common way to get rid of them but he prefers it. He'd light them on fire and they would make a little explosion. Parents kids started volunteering to be exploded like ghost bombs, without their parents knowledge. There were a bunch waiting outside the barn... A blonde girl, in particular, was upset that she couldn't do it because of something having to do with her nose. While she was telling her mom about it her pupils disappeared and her eyes were just pure gray. Apparently I watched it on YouTube because I read some comments. One said "a wonderful adaptation of the original". They all liked it and nobody seemed aware of how morbid it was.
