Ireland in Michigan

The dream starts out where me and Mika are still in Ireland although I guess in this dream it's attached to the U.S.? I think it starts where we're in a house belonging to a Mexican family and we were temporarily staying with them for now as the mother is cooking food for us. We came out from some rooms and she tells us to sit down. We take a seat at the island in the small kitchen, us sitting on the side facing the actual kitchen itself while she's on the other side by the stove and such. She asks us what we've been up to and I explain we're here in ireland to visit and we're about to head out to the jail that's been turned into a library despite how late it is. She says that it's a shame we're leaving today. She has some family that she could've let us stay with. I get excited at her offer, telling her we would've taken her up if we weren't leaving, even saying I would've done dishes and cleaned the house in gratitude. She explains her sister has many kids and jokes we could've babysat them, and that's when her daughter shows up and says that babysitting more than 10 kids is an impossible feat. We have our fun but it's time to leave so me and Mika take a bus to the library, going through town which seems a little more modern and like Michigan since it's more sunny with less clouds and just as green. It dawns on mika when we're almost there, around 4:30 PM, that it's late and we should head back. But then it also dawns on us that the bus stops coming here at 3:30 PM. I tell her to chill. It won't leave immediately and we can stay on. She says she wants to at least go inside and check out the entrance and even though I'm against it, I don't say anything. We go inside and it's a generic hall with off-white linoleum flooring and light yellow wallsz, but with bars on the windows. We peek through a glass door and see the library but it's all we can do. A guard is sitting on a stool and Mika asks him if there's another bus coming but he says there won't be. We go outside again and see the bus has left. Change of scene to where I'm leaving the house and out into the darkness where it seems to be the middle of a snow storm. There are cars and we have to move them around, and I get the feeling that we can't because they're frozen so we have to push. Wearing layers of clothes and jackets, me and Mika go to start pushing the SUV as the snow comes down harder. It starts to slide but then I wake up.
