Touring Horrible New Apartment

We went to see our new apartment. Apparently we were already locked in even though we hadn’t seen it before. It was in a huge building maybe the size of a mall. The unit was something like 818. We checked out the units in the 800s and they looked okay. We talked to some nice people. But 818 wasn’t there. We saw a sign pointing that 818 was another way. We followed the signs all across the building. Eventually we came to a zoo. One sign said 818 shortcut and pointed to a large sea lion exhibit. I was confused. My boyfriend went the long way while I tried to find the zoo manager. I found her and she came with me, explaining that the shortcut is through the sea lion habitat, and that only 818 residents are allowed in. So we opened the fence, got into this tiny canoe that was waiting at the edge, and started paddling across. It took a few minutes. When we got to the other side she told me she was about to become general manager for the whole building. I told her that was awesome. I finally met up with my boyfriend who was just arriving and we found that the units were now in the 8000s. But one last sign pointed towards 818. We got there and found it was one unit split into three- A, B, and C. It was an open floor plan so the other two neighbors could see right into our kitchen and living room area, and even our bedroom if the door was open. The living room was only a few feet across, directly behind it and attached was the kitchen, same length across. And at the end of this, almost hallway size apartment, was the bedroom door. One bedroom, no private bathroom. There was a shared bathroom elsewhere on the floor. I stood there feeling sick, thinking about how our couch wouldn’t even fit here because it’s a sectional. The only thing we would be able to bring was the bed, nothing else would fit, not even any tables. All our neighbors were out wanting to meet up. I asked the guy who lived next to us, “how do you bring in groceries or things you buy, when you have to get in that little boat and paddle across, and walk for miles?” He smiled and laughed acknowledging the crazy situation. “Oh I don’t buy groceries, for that reason,” he responded. I just stood there blankly, angry, before noticing now everyone including my boyfriend was dressed in formal/black tie wear. I asked confused, “why is everyone dressed up?” A woman explained, “the formal is about to start.” She started approaching us. “What formal? For what?” I asked, still very confused. She laughed. “No one knows why, the general manager is throwing it and she never explains why she does these things, she’s very spontaneous,” she said. “All I know is, my date is here.” She started putting her arms around my boyfriend, smiling while her hands rested behind his neck. I literally started screaming. “No you fucking didn’t, he has a girlfriend!” “It’s fine we’re just going to the dance together,” she laughed, pulling him. I chased them and kicked her down a flight of stairs. I raced to the bottom of the stairs where she was laying, and started stomping her head in with my heels on. She was still laughing and seemed fine while her head started to cave in.
