Gun and Run

It was day time, outdoors. My car was in a parking space in front of some kind of restaurant or other establishment, and faced up hill toward a long empty road. Myself and a small group of other people walked up the road until a brown haired man in small sunglasses and a cream colored button down shirt who was with us yelled for everyone to stop. Up ahead, on the crest of the hill, was a man in a black ski mask, swinging a long gun and walking to us. Everyone in our group ran to our respective cars; I to mine. I started it, cut the wheel hard left and pulled out down the road away from the gun guy. As I drove quickly away, day turned to night. I came up on a yellow light and ran through it just as it turned red. Then I realized there were people in the crosswalk and I swerved to avoid them. But when I did, I felt a huge bump and thought I had possibly hit someone after all. I looked around and all the people around were staring at my car in shock, reacting to whatever I had hit.
