Drove to NYC

In the dream, I was practicing driving by myself on the highway. I started from somewhere in Massachusetts and kept just going along highways. At some point, I realized I was getting too far from home, so I tried to exit the highway and double back, or at least get to somewhere I could pull over and set my GPS to bring me home. But every time I went off an exit, I simply exited onto another highway. I was trapped. Eventually I saw skyscrapers in front of me and knew I royally messed up, as I live far from any cities. I was now in Boston. Somehow, I drove on a bridge from Boston to NYC, even though they are not near each other. I was finally able to pull over once I was in New York, at which point my car seemed to disappear. I called my mother and told her that I had somehow managed to drive to New York City. My father teleported to me to bring me back, which is weird because my parents are divorced and haven’t lived together in years. Two guys in New York took a picture of us and scammed us into paying almost $50 for it. We then got on a bus ride home. On the bus, my brother somehow joined us, and the two guys also rode back with us. I told them that I had been practicing driving on the highway, but accidentally went all the way to New York. I told them that I don’t have my driver’s license yet. I said I was driving without anyone next to me, which was stupid, and without even using my GPS, which was even more stupid. I went back to sit with my brother and father. I started ripping open my present, forgetting that it isn’t Christmas yet. I unwrapped a new XBox 360 for myself. I disbelievingly asked if this was really for me, and the dream ended. Honestly, even now in 2023, I would still have played it a lot.
