i was walking around this video game "loadup" zone where if you interacted with any of the objects you would either begin a quest or fight someone, and i kept trying to find a specific object (a skull plant thing ?) that would "kill me" and drop me into the "dead zone" where i could complete whatever objective i had in mind. but every time i saw a skull plant in an area, i'd move closer and it would disappear. i moved around this loadup zone (it was huge, with many different smaller themed areas all around), and at the end i found my girlfriend and decided to scrap my mission and spend the rest of my time with her. my only regret is waking up too soon.
