Mother to a lost baby

Today I had a dream that a mother came to me for help. No place to stay and no money. Just a baby and herself. The mother would leave and I would be stuck with the baby. I would search for the mother every where. Meanwhile the baby stood in my arms, I remember just staring at him. I got attached quick, I felt it. I was on my way to the store to buy everything this baby needed because he had nothing and I was ready to give him everything. From there I knew the mother was gone and a unfit mother. I was on my way to the car with the baby till I seen the mom. She gave a strange look. I guess she seen the way I was holding and caring for her child. She asked if she could come, I said yes. We stopped somewhere to grab a drink. The mother asked for something so I put down the baby and got off to get it. I remember it took so long to grab the drinks, when I went back they were gone. Her and her baby. I was heartbroken. I tried searching everywhere for him, but nothing... Last thing I heard was the baby crying.
