I had a dream where I went back to school as a junior (it is currently the summer). The only class that I went to was AP English language, the one that I’m the most nervous for come the actual school year. We were required to read 2 books, The New Kings of Nonfiction and The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. However, in the dream, I went back to school in July with only 300 pages read in the first book and none read in the next. To make things worse, I was in my Pajamas, with only a jacket to cover it up. I sat down at a table with Bianca (junior high friend) at it. She was talking to me on how she is also not prepared for this class. The teacher starts asking me a direct question regarding the content in one of the books that I didn’t even read. I got nervous, and said that I didn’t realize that we were going to school so early, so I didn’t read one of the books. She moves on to the next person while I say to Bianca that this is the worse day that I’ve ever experienced (two of my worst fears are being unprepared and being embarrassed in front of an audience). The teacher asks me to answer the next question, and I somehow able to answer it correctly. She looks at me with a stunned face. “So you did read the book then?” “I read the first 300 pages of The New Kings of Nonfiction” I reply The dream starts to fade from there, and I eventually wake up at 4 am. I go back to sleep, have another dream that I can’t recall at the moment, and wake up again at 8 am where I record my previous dream.
