An Earthquake

There was a sudden strong shaking of the ground, it was an earthquake in our "barangay". As a response, we got out of our house and went to the furthest dwarf coconut tree we had planted years ago and hid there. The quake lasted for some time and I suddenly knew or saw the numbers in my mind that its magnitude was 5.3-5.5, then it stopped and only one foundation of our ancestral house fell down, the one near the outside kitchen (that house was currently where our business products are manufactured, we call it 'shop' for some reason).
