I am at a beach that I don't recognise. There is a hill that leads down to a beach front and the sea is closing in. There is a lot of greenery in the sand, hedges and grasses. There is a "peak" of some sorts, a very large sand dune with a cairn at the top. I am walking towards it. As I do so I see a blonde woman in climbing gear striding purposely towards it. I wanted to get there before her so I speed up my step and I arrive just before her. Being the gentleman that I am, however, I say "Ladies first". She gives me a dismissive look as if to say "Thanks very much, ya prick" and I am mildly annoyed at that. She steps up to the top of the dune / cairn and there is a large hedge facing her. There is a small gap between the dune / cairn and the hedge and a fair old drop below her. She steps across with ease onto the top of the hedge. I start to make my way up the dune but then become wary of the drop below. I figure it would be better to make my way to the hedge below the top and climb my way up. As I do so the branches of the hedge give way and bend backwards carrying me with it towards the sandy floor. I cling on but don't seem too bothered about it. The branch then bounces back up with me clinging on and this process is repeated. As this is happening I can hear the woman from before make comment about me not being able to get to the top of the hedge. The scene changes to a fair ground. And rather weirdly it's in cartoon format. People are dancing around and celebrating as if it's the end of something (I am not sure what, Coronavirus restrictions perhaps?). The song that is playing as everyone is celebrating is "Don't Take Away The Music" by Tavares (1977). I have never gotten the words to the last line of the chorus: Don't take away..... The muuuuuuu-sic It's the only thing I've got It's my something something something In the dream I remember thinking I need to figure out what they are singing in the chorus. So I have just checked and, to be honest, if I was forced to guess before I checked I would have got it as it's not that unclear or surprising. Don't take away..... The muuuuuuu-sic It's the only thing I've got It's my piece of the rock. 43 years later and he gets it 😁
