Reverberating change, enemy laser

I was in a massive boxed reality. There was a mystical/alien influence. I climbed up higher and higher on white ledges that led to nowhere. Next to me were brave men. I ended up back on the ground and a transparent world began rotating around me and speaking of change. The wheel was full of translucent geometry. I became afraid and my world turned black.
